Monocular Apexel 40x60 40x 60mm with Tripod and Phone Mount
The Apexel 40x60 monocular combines 40x optical magnification with a 60 mm objective lens in a compact, portable body. Supplied with a small tabletop tripod and a phone mount, this monocular is designed for long-distance observation and makes it easier to capture images using a smartphone through the eyepiece. The device is intended for outdoor activities such as birdwatching, hiking, sports spectating and travel where a lightweight, single-eye optical instrument is preferred.
The 40x magnification together with a 60 mm objective provides a balance of reach and light gathering suitable for daytime and low-light conditions. The included tripod improves stability and reduces hand tremor for sharper views and photos. The phone mount is compatible with most smartphones and allows basic digiscoping by aligning the camera with the eyepiece. The compact size and relatively low weight make the monocular easy to carry in a daypack or luggage.
Mount the monocular on the supplied tripod and tighten the mount to secure the instrument. Adjust the eyepiece focus by rotating the focus ring until the image appears sharp. For smartphone photography, attach the phone mount to the eyepiece, align the phone camera with the eyepiece optics and secure the phone. Use the tripod to stabilize the view before taking photos or observing for extended periods. Make small focus adjustments to compensate for changes in distance and lighting.
For best results, use the monocular in daylight or during early morning and late afternoon light; stabilize the device on the tripod to minimize blur; keep the objective lens clean and protected when not in use; and ensure the smartphone camera is properly aligned with the eyepiece to reduce vignetting when capturing images.
