Ball valve ARCO TAJO 2000 3/4" F x 3/4" F with lever handle
ARCO TAJO 2000 3/4" F x 3/4" F with lever handle is a female-to-female ball valve intended for shut-off and flow control in domestic and light commercial plumbing and heating systems. The valve uses a quarter-turn ball mechanism for rapid opening and closing and features female 3/4" threaded connections for compatibility with common pipe fittings. A lever handle provides clear manual control and visual position indication.
The design of this ball valve ensures fast, reliable operation with minimal pressure drop when fully open. The quarter-turn action reduces operation time and wear compared with multi-turn valves. Female threaded connections allow straightforward installation without additional adapters in many standard piping configurations. The lever handle gives tactile and visual feedback of the valve position and is made to withstand routine manual operation.
Install the valve inline between compatible 3/4" female threaded fittings, ensuring threads are clean and properly sealed with suitable thread sealant or tape. Tighten connections to the recommended torque for the piping material to avoid leaks or thread damage. Rotate the lever handle 90° to open or close the valve; the lever position is aligned with the flow when open and perpendicular when closed. Operate the lever smoothly to avoid sudden pressure surges in the system.
Inspect the valve periodically for signs of leakage or corrosion and confirm smooth lever movement. Avoid using the valve for throttling or fine flow regulation for prolonged periods; the valve is intended primarily as an on/off isolating device. Select compatible materials and thread sealing methods appropriate for the system's temperature and water chemistry.
