Angled radiator valve ARCO TEIDE PLUS 3/4" female thread, chrome
Angled radiator valve ARCO TEIDE PLUS 3/4" female thread, chrome
The Angled radiator valve ARCO TEIDE PLUS 3/4" female thread in chrome is a compact thermostatic-compatible valve intended for use on panel and convector radiators where an angular connection is needed. It provides manual shut-off and flow control for central heating systems and has a chrome-plated exterior that resists corrosion and simplifies cleaning. The valve is designed to fit radiators with a 3/4" female thread and to deliver dependable performance in household and light commercial heating installations.
The chrome finish offers a corrosion-resistant surface that is easy to wipe clean and maintains appearance during normal use. The angled body enables space-efficient installation where pipework approaches the radiator from the wall or floor at an angle. The valve provides reliable shut-off and flow control compatible with typical central heating systems, helping to balance and isolate individual radiators for maintenance or seasonal shutdowns.
This valve is a manual angled radiator valve and does not include an integrated thermostatic control head; it may not be suitable where automatic temperature regulation per radiator is required. It is designed for radiators with a 3/4" female thread; it will not fit radiators or pipework using different thread types or sizes without appropriate adapters.
Shut off the system and drain the radiator before removing the existing valve. Fit the angled valve to the radiator inlet with the 3/4" female thread, ensuring appropriate sealing (PTFE tape or approved jointing compound) and correct alignment with the supply pipe. Tighten to the manufacturer-recommended torque to avoid damaging the thread or housing. Use the valve to regulate flow manually by opening or closing the valve spindle; for seasonal maintenance isolate the radiator by closing the valve completely. Re-pressurise and check the system for leaks after installation.
For reliable performance, install the valve following local plumbing regulations and use suitable sealing materials. If automatic temperature control is needed, pair the valve with a compatible thermostatic head or choose a thermostatic valve alternative. Inspect connections periodically for tightness and corrosion and clean the chrome surface with non-abrasive cleaners.
