Plastic Film ARGO FOLIA 0.20 mm yellow – protective sheet film 0.20 mm

ARGO FOLIA 0.20 mm yellow is a 0.20 mm thick protective plastic film designed for temporary surface protection during renovation, painting and transport. The lightweight and flexible film can be cut to size and applied to furniture, floors, windows and building surfaces to shield them from dust, paint splashes and moisture. Its yellow colour improves visibility on site and helps distinguish covered areas from exposed surfaces.

Advantages

The film combines low weight with sufficient tear resistance for short-term protection tasks and easy handling. It is flexible and conforms to uneven surfaces, allowing fast coverage of irregular shapes. The material is easy to cut with scissors or a knife and can be fixed in place with tape or adhesive solutions. Its thin profile minimises storage volume and reduces waste compared with multi-layer alternatives.

Suitable for

• Protecting furniture and fittings during painting or renovation
• Covering floors and stairs to prevent paint and dust contamination
• Temporary window and glazing protection during construction
• Packaging and separation of goods for storage or transport

Key specifications

• Material: flexible plastic film
• Thickness: 0.20 mm
• Colour: yellow
• Form: sheet roll or cut sheet (depends on pack)
• Surface: smooth, lightweight

How to use

Measure the area to be protected and cut the ARGO FOLIA film to the required dimensions using scissors or a utility knife. Lay the film over the surface so it covers the area fully and secure the edges with masking tape, painter's tape or other suitable adhesive. For vertical surfaces, allow for overlap and fix at the top first to prevent sagging. After work is completed, remove the tape and film carefully to avoid leaving adhesive residue; dispose of the used film according to local waste regulations.

Usage recommendations

Use the film for temporary protection only; avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures, open flames or solvents that may degrade the material. For heavy-duty or long-term protection choose thicker or reinforced protective films. Store rolls flat or upright in a dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve flexibility and handling properties.
