Acrylic paint Army Painter Militia Green 18 ml — model and miniature paint
Army Painter Militia Green is an 18 ml bottle of water-based acrylic paint formulated for painting wargaming miniatures, scale models and terrain. The liquid consistency is suitable for basecoating, layering and shading by hand or with an airbrush. Militia Green is part of the Warpaints Air range and is pre-mixed and airbrush-ready, offering a compact single-colour solution for hobbyists and model builders who need reliable coverage and easy handling.
The paint is airbrush-ready from the bottle and does not require thinning, saving preparation time and maintaining consistent pigment strength. It contains ultra-filtered vibrant pigment for smooth, even application and comes with two steel mixing balls to aid dispersion and reduce settling. The colour is developed within a Triad System that pairs each Warpaints Air shade with matching Base and Highlight tones, simplifying highlighting and zenithal shading workflows.
Shake the bottle vigorously to activate the mixing balls and homogenise the pigment before use. For airbrushing, use the paint directly from the bottle; no thinning is required unless a specific flow or effect is desired, in which case test on scrap material first. For hand brushing, apply thin layers and allow each layer to dry before adding highlights or washes. Use the Triad System by combining the matching Base and Highlight shades to achieve consistent shading and faster highlighting.
Store the bottle upright in a cool, dry place and reseal the cap after use to prevent drying. When airbrushing, clean equipment promptly with appropriate cleaner for water-based acrylics. Test colour and dilution on a sample surface before applying to final models to ensure the desired coverage and finish.
