Acrylic Air Paint Army Painter Warpaints Air Cypress Brown 30 g
Army Painter Warpaints Air Cypress Brown is a 30 g water-based acrylic airbrush paint formulated for miniature painting, modelling and hobby projects. The liquid formula is ultra-filtered and pre-mixed so it is airbrush-ready straight from the bottle, allowing controlled basecoating, layering and shading in a warm brown tone. The product is suitable for use with airbrushes and for fine brushwork when desired; it is not suitable for children under 36 months.
The paint requires no thinning for typical airbrushing due to its pre-mixed, air-ready consistency and includes two steel mixing balls to help maintain an even pigment suspension. Being part of the Warpaints Triad System, Cypress Brown has matching base and highlight colours in the same range, which simplifies layering, zenithal shading and colour coordination across miniatures and models. The water-based acrylic formulation cleans up with water and is compatible with standard miniature painting workflows.
Shake the bottle thoroughly to engage the included mixing balls and ensure a uniform pigment suspension before use. Apply directly from the bottle to an airbrush without additional thinning for most setups; test spray on scrap material to confirm coverage and adjust air pressure as needed. For brushwork, apply in thin layers, allowing each layer to dry before adding further layers or highlights. Use the corresponding Triad System base and highlight colours to speed up layering and shading workflows.
Handle and store the paint at moderate temperatures and keep the cap tightly closed to prevent contamination and drying. When airbrushing, use appropriate ventilation and personal protective equipment. Avoid use by children under 36 months and follow manufacturer guidance for surface preparation and sealing if a protective varnish or finish is required.
