Acrylic paint Army Painter Pallid Bone 18 ml — liquid miniature paint
Army Painter Pallid Bone is an 18 ml water-based acrylic paint formulated for miniature models, wargaming figures and hobby detailing. Supplied in a compact bottle, this liquid paint is designed for basecoating and layering on primed surfaces. The Pallid Bone shade provides a muted, bone-like neutral tone suitable for natural-looking highlights, weathered effects and layered skin or bone details. Not suitable for children under 36 months. Net weight approx. 3 g; pack contains 1 piece.
This acrylic paint offers smooth flow and consistent coverage, reducing brush strokes and enabling controlled application on small surfaces. As a liquid formula it spreads evenly for basecoats and works well with layering techniques. The Pallid Bone colour produces clear contrast when applied over a primer and responds predictably to washes and highlights applied afterwards. The product is water-based for easy thinning and cleanup with water.
Shake the bottle gently before use to ensure even pigment distribution. Apply over a fully primed miniature surface using a fine brush for detail areas or a larger brush for basecoats. For airbrushing, thin the paint with water or a dedicated acrylic thinner to achieve the correct viscosity. Allow each layer to dry before applying additional coats, washes or highlights. Clean brushes and tools with water immediately after use.
For best results, prime miniatures with a compatible spray or brush primer and test thinning ratios on a scrap surface. Use light, even strokes to maintain control of coverage; if a more translucent effect is required, apply one thin layer and build up gradually rather than overloading in a single pass.
