Acrylic Paint Army Painter Warpaints Fanatic — Leather Brown, liquid, 1 pc
Acrylic Paint Army Painter Warpaints Fanatic — Leather Brown is a liquid, water-based acrylic paint formulated for miniature and model painting. Supplied as a single 1 pc bottle, this Leather Brown tone is designed for basecoating, layering and fine detailing on plastic, resin and metal miniatures. The Fanatic line offers high pigment concentration and coverage in a premium resin base with stabilizers that allow extensive thinning while keeping pigment dispersion consistent. The paint belongs to a flexible triad colour system where matched shades provide a natural progression from dark to light within the same hue family.
The formula provides intense pigmentation and unsurpassed coverage for rapid basecoating and controlled layering. Its resin base with proprietary stabilizers permits thinning to varying consistencies without loss of colour integrity, enabling smooth glazes and washes as well as full-coverage coats. The paint adheres well to common miniature materials—plastic, resin and metal—and dries to a durable finish suitable for handling. The flexible triad system simplifies colour selection and ensures consistent hue transitions when building highlights and shadows.
Shake the bottle well before use to ensure even pigment dispersion. Apply directly from the bottle for full coverage basecoats or thin with water or a compatible acrylic medium for glazing and layered effects. Use fine brushes for detailing leather textures and straps; multiple thin layers improve smoothness and edge definition. Allow appropriate drying time between coats and avoid excessive thinning that removes pigment entirely. Clean brushes with water while paint is wet.
For best results, pair Leather Brown with lighter and darker shades from the same triad to create natural highlights and shadows. For durable finishes on frequently handled miniatures, apply a suitable clear varnish after the paint is fully dry. Test thinning ratios on a spare surface to find the optimal balance between flow and coverage.
