Paint marker Army Painter Speedpaint 2.0 Hoplite Gold (Gold ink) – 1 pc
The Army Painter Speedpaint 2.0 paint marker in Hoplite Gold provides ready-to-use metallic gold ink in a portable marker format. Designed for miniature painters and hobbyists, this single-piece marker delivers precise gold pigment for detailing, quick highlights and edge work on miniatures, models and small hobby projects without the need for a palette or water.
Speedpaint 2.0 formula inside the marker applies shadows and highlights in one coat and contains metallic pigment for a consistent gold finish. The Felt-Tech tip offers control and smooth ink flow for fine details and edging. The marker format reduces setup and cleanup time — just uncap and paint.
As a single-marker solution, it is intended for targeted metallic details rather than full-surface basecoating of large models; achieving even coverage on very large areas may be slower than using spray or brush-applied paints. Users seeking extensive custom color blending or very thin glaze layers may prefer traditional paint, palette and brush techniques.
Shake the marker if recommended by the manufacturer, uncap and gently press the Felt-Tech tip to prime the flow before first use. Apply directly to the area to be highlighted, using the nib angle to control line width and detail. Allow metallic ink to dry between passes; apply additional layers for stronger coverage. Replace the cap after use to prevent the tip from drying.
For controlled highlights, practice on a spare sprue or test model to judge flow and coverage; use light, short strokes and allow drying time before blending or varnishing.
