Decorative Sand Army Painter BF4222P — Brown, 19 g box
Decorative sand Army Painter BF4222P in brown is a fine-textured basing material supplied in a 19 g box. Designed for miniature basing, dioramas and terrain modelling, this brown sand provides natural-looking ground texture that adheres well to common hobby glues and accepts paints and washes. The product is intended for hobbyists and wargamers who want to add realistic earth effects to bases, scenery and terrain features.
This brown decorative sand offers a consistent particle size and natural color that blends easily with paint and basing materials. It is supplied in a compact 19 g box that is convenient for small projects and touch-ups. The sand glues quickly to standard hobby adhesives and accepts primers, paints and washes without significant color bleed, enabling precise control of final appearance during painting and weathering.
Apply a thin layer of PVA glue, hobby glue or super glue to the area to be textured. Sprinkle the decorative sand evenly over the adhesive while it is still wet, then gently tap off excess after the glue has set. Once dry, seal with primer or a clear coat if desired, then paint and weather the sand to match the desired terrain effect. For small bases use a tray or paper to capture excess sand for reuse.
For best results use with a PVA-based basing mix for even adhesion, and apply fine drybrushing and washes after priming to enhance texture. Store the box in a dry place to prevent clumping and keep out of reach of children during application due to choking risk.
