The ASUS RP-N12 Wi-Fi Range Extender is a compact wireless device that extends and improves coverage of an existing Wi‑Fi network. With external MIMO antennas and a maximum wireless data rate up to 300 Mbit/s, it operates in three modes — range extender, access point and media bridge — to provide better signal reach for notebooks, tablets, smartphones, smart TVs and game consoles. The unit includes one 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port and supports security protocols including 128-bit WEP, WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK.

Advantages

External antennas increase coverage and help reduce dead zones, while a WPS one-press setup simplifies installation without the need for discs or apps. A front-panel LED signal indicator helps find the best placement for optimal performance. Roaming Assist enables devices to switch automatically to the strongest signal between the extender and an ASUS router.
