The unit supports either USB or PS/2 interfaces for computers and console devices, offers daisy-chaining to expand systems, and provides high-quality video and multi-platform compatibility for professional environments such as server rooms and data centers.

How to use

Mount the CL5708 in a 19" rack using the supplied rack-mount kit and connect each target computer with the appropriate KVM cables (PS/2 or USB) provided in the package. Connect the console power and, if required, attach USB peripherals to the LCD module USB port. Use the front-panel buttons, hotkeys or on-screen display (OSD) to switch between computers, configure accounts, and set scan or broadcast modes. For expanded systems, daisy-chain additional compatible KVM units and the CL5708 will auto-sense its station position without manual DIP switch settings.

Usage recommendations

For reliable operation, use the supplied KVM cables and ensure connected computers are compatible with PS/2 or USB interfaces. Keep firmware up to date by using the provided firmware upgrade cable to update all chained units simultaneously, and configure administrator and user accounts to control access rights.
