The ATEN CL5708M-ATA-AG is a 1U rack-mountable Slideaway™ LCD KVM switch that integrates a 17" LED-backlit monitor, keyboard and touchpad in a sliding housing for space-efficient server management. The unit controls up to 8 computers directly and supports daisy-chaining up to 31 additional KVM switches for a maximum of 256 computers from a single PS/2 or USB KVM console. It accepts PS/2 keyboard and USB mouse connections, provides a VGA video port with a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024, and is built with a metal and plastic housing for data centre use.

How to use

Install the CL5708M-ATA-AG into a 1U space in a server rack and secure it according to rack-mount guidelines. Connect PS/2 keyboard and USB mouse to the console ports and attach server video cables to the VGA ports for each connected computer. Power the unit using a compatible 100–240 V supply.
