Power over Ethernet (PoE) Injector Atte AEPI-1-50
Power over Ethernet (PoE) Injector Atte AEPI-1-50
Atte AEPI-1-50 is a Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector that delivers both network data and electrical power over a single Ethernet cable to compatible devices. Designed to be installed inline between a non‑PoE network switch and a PoE device, this injector enables power delivery without changing existing network infrastructure. The compact form factor and straightforward connections make it suitable for adding PoE capability to IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones and other Powered Devices that require a separate power source.
The injector provides a simple and cost‑effective method to add PoE to an existing network, avoiding replacement of switches. It supplies inline DC power along with Gigabit Ethernet data over one cable, reducing cabling complexity and installation time. Its plug‑and‑play design requires no special configuration, and the unit’s electrical isolation protects the network switch from powered device current draw. The Atte AEPI-1-50 is suitable for deployments where a localized power source is needed at the device end.
Install the injector between your existing network switch and the PoE device by connecting the network switch to the injector’s data input port and the PoE device to the injector’s output port using standard Ethernet cables. Ensure both ends are seated correctly and that the powered device supports the type of injected power. Power the injector from a compatible mains supply and verify link/activity indicators to confirm data and power delivery. No additional configuration on the network switch or the injector is required for standard operation.
Use certified shielded or unshielded Ethernet cabling of appropriate category (Cat5e or higher) for reliable data and power transmission. Verify the powered device’s power requirements and distance limitations to ensure the injector delivers sufficient voltage and current over the cable run. For outdoor or harsh environments, place the injector in a protected enclosure and follow local electrical safety rules when connecting mains power.
