Network switch AVIZIO 4x RJ45 PoE 1Gb/s + 2x RJ45 uplink 1Gb/s AV-SU4GP2G
The AVIZIO network switch AV-SU4GP2G offers compact gigabit connectivity with integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE) on four RJ45 ports and two additional gigabit RJ45 uplink ports. Designed to deliver both data and power over standard Ethernet cabling, this switch enables efficient deployment of IP cameras, wireless access points and VoIP phones in small office, retail or surveillance environments while maintaining a small footprint and straightforward installation.
This switch combines four PoE-enabled gigabit ports and two dedicated gigabit uplinks in a single compact unit, simplifying network layouts and reducing cabling. Built for plug-and-play use, it supports simultaneous data transfer and power delivery to compatible devices, eliminating the need for separate power supplies at each endpoint. The gigabit ports ensure high-speed transfers for video streams and large file transfers, while the two uplink ports allow easy connection to routers, network recorders or core switches.
Place the switch in a ventilated, dry location near your network devices and the main router or network backbone. Connect the two uplink ports to your router, main switch or network video recorder using Cat5e or Cat6 cables. Plug PoE-capable devices such as IP cameras, access points or VoIP phones into the PoE RJ45 ports; the switch will provide both data and power over the same cable. Verify link/activity LEDs to confirm connectivity and proper operation. For devices that do not require PoE, standard network endpoints can be connected to the non-powered uplink ports if needed.
Ensure total connected PoE power consumption does not exceed the switch's available PoE budget; consult device power requirements and plan port allocation accordingly. Use quality Cat5e or Cat6 cables for stable gigabit links and place the switch in a cool, dust-free environment to maintain reliable performance. For larger networks, use the uplink ports to connect to a managed switch or router and segregate traffic as needed at the network level.
