Shovel/trowel AWTools AW00066, multipurpose hand shovel, weight 1.8 kg
AWTools AW00066 is a multipurpose hand shovel designed for general digging, scooping and material handling in gardening, landscaping and light construction tasks. Made of hardened steel with a powder-coated finish and a wooden, riveted shaft ending in a T-shaped handle, this compact shovel weighs 1.8 kg and is intended for manual work where control and durability are required. The wide head with upward bent edges helps retain loose materials during transfer. The tool is manufactured in Poland and is suitable for both hobby gardeners and light professional use.
The hardened steel construction with a powder-coated finish provides corrosion resistance and enhanced wear properties for prolonged use outdoors. The wide head with upturned edges reduces spillage when scooping loose materials, and the wooden, smoothly ground shaft with rivets offers a secure grip and improved handling. The T-shaped handle facilitates two-handed control for heavier loads while keeping the tool compact and easy to store.
Hold the T-shaped handle with one hand and the wooden shaft with the other for better control. Position the wide head at the required angle to penetrate soil or scoop loose materials, then lever the blade upward to collect and transfer the load. For digging, use short, controlled strokes and apply body weight over the blade for increased penetration. After use, clean off abrasive materials and dry the tool to protect the powder-coated finish and wooden shaft.
Use gloves to protect your hands during extended work and avoid exposing the wooden shaft to prolonged moisture. For best results when handling coarse or very wet materials, clean the blade promptly after use and store the shovel in a dry place to maintain finish and prevent wood swelling.
