Rake AWTools AW00090, weight 1.3 kg
AWTools AW00090 is a garden rake weighing 1.3 kg designed for general outdoor and gardening tasks. The head is made of hardened and polished steel with a powder-coated finish and fitted with 14 pressed tines. An ergonomic, angled tubular steel shaft is covered with non-slip TPR material and includes a non-slip hand grip, offering stable handling for household gardening and small landscaping jobs. The tool is made in Poland and suited for collecting leaves, removing dead grass, loosening soil and light leveling.
The hardened and polished steel frame with powder coating increases resistance to wear and corrosion, while the 14 pressed tines provide uniform contact with the ground for efficient collection of leaves and debris. The lightweight construction at 1.3 kg reduces user fatigue during extended manual work. The angled tubular steel shaft with TPR covering and a non-slip hand grip improves ergonomics and handling control on different tasks.
Hold the rake by the non-slip grip and position the angled shaft so the tines contact the surface evenly. Use short, controlled strokes to gather leaves and debris into manageable piles; for removing thatch or dead grass, apply slightly firmer pressure while raking in the direction of growth to avoid damaging roots. For light soil loosening and bed preparation, use the tines to break crusted soil and then level the surface with broader, even strokes. Clean debris from the tines after use and store the rake in a dry place to preserve the powder-coated finish.
For prolonged tasks, work in 15–20 minute intervals and change posture to reduce strain. Avoid using the rake on heavy, compacted soil or for prying large stones to prevent bending the pressed tines; choose a heavier-duty tool for such jobs.
