Electrical power plug AWTools AW24808, compact 36 g, mains connector
AWTools AW24808 electrical power plug is a compact, angled mains connector intended for general indoor power connections. The model is dismountable for easier installation and includes grounding contact for safety. Constructed from durable, abrasion- and scratch-resistant plastic, this plug is suitable where a lightweight, simple replacement or new connector is required. The plug is manufactured in Poland and rated for use with appliances that draw up to 16 A.
The AWTools AW24808 combines a compact 36 g form factor with a removable design that simplifies wiring and replacement. Its angled shape reduces strain on attached cables in tight installations, while the integrated grounding contact supports safe connection of grounded appliances. Durable plastic housing resists surface wear and maintains appearance under normal indoor use.
Before installation, disconnect power to the circuit and verify that the appliance and wiring are compatible with a 16 A rated connector. Open the dismountable housing following the manufacturer's fit points, connect live, neutral and earth conductors to the corresponding terminals, tighten the terminal screws securely, and reassemble the housing. Ensure the cable is routed and clamped as intended to prevent strain on the terminations. After assembly, test the connection with the power restored and verify the grounding continuity where applicable.
Use this plug only indoors and avoid exposure to moisture or weather. Confirm compatibility with the appliance's current requirements and, if uncertain, consult a qualified electrician for installation or testing. Do not use the plug if the housing is cracked or terminals are corroded; replace with a suitable unit.
