Submersible pump AWTools AW85052, 5.5 kg weight
AWTools AW85052 is a compact submersible pump designed for removal and transfer of clean and dirty water in a variety of domestic and light-professional environments. The pump combines an INOX stainless steel and impact-resistant plastic housing with an ergonomic handle and an angle adapter for flexible hose connection. With a built-in float switch for automatic on/off operation and motor thermal overload protection, the AW85052 is intended for reliable drainage of basements, pools, construction sites, gardens and other locations where a portable submersible solution is required.
The stainless steel (INOX) and impact-resistant plastic construction provides corrosion resistance and mechanical durability while keeping the unit compact and portable. The integrated float switch enables automatic operation according to water level without manual intervention. Thermal overload cut-out protects the motor from overheating during prolonged use. The angle adapter allows connection to hoses of different diameters, improving compatibility with existing equipment. The pump is capable of handling particles up to 35 mm, making it suitable for draining dirty and sewage water.
Place the AWTools AW85052 pump in the water to be removed on a stable, level surface or suspend it by the handle if recommended by the installation situation. Connect an appropriate discharge hose using the angle adapter to match hose diameter. Ensure the float switch can move freely and is not obstructed. Connect the pump to a properly grounded electrical outlet and switch on power; the float switch will start and stop the pump automatically according to the water level. Monitor operation periodically and avoid running the pump dry. If the motor stops due to thermal overload, allow the unit to cool before restarting.
Use hoses and fittings that match the angle adapter to minimize leakage and pressure losses. Avoid suction of large debris beyond the 35 mm limit; pre-filtering or screening larger solids will extend pump life. Regularly inspect the float switch, power cable and housing for damage, and clean the pump after handling heavily contaminated water. Store the pump in a dry, frost-free place when not in use.
