The Axagon HUE-C1A is a compact travel USB hub that expands a single USB-A port into four USB-A ports using the USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) standard, enabling data transfer speeds up to 5 Gbit/s. A fixed 19 cm USB-A cable suits mobile users and the hub includes a built-in USB-C power input to accept additional power from standard USB-C phone chargers. The hub supports hot-plugging and Plug and Play operation and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. Dimensions are 106 x 32 x 11 mm and the hub weighs 37 g including the cable.

How to use

Connect the hub's fixed USB-A plug to a free USB-A port on your computer or laptop. Plug peripherals into any of the four USB-A ports; devices support hot-plugging so they can be connected or removed while the host is running. For increased power, connect a USB-C wall charger to the hub's built-in USB-C input (charger not included). If using with a smartphone or tablet, use an appropriate OTG adapter or USB-A to USB-C adapter to attach the hub.

Usage recommendations

Use bus power for low-power devices such as keyboards, mice, flash drives and card readers. For multiple external 2.5" magnetic drives or to obtain higher charging currents (up to 1.5 A per port), connect a separate USB-C charger (recommended output ≥ 2 A).
