AXIS T8645PoE+ over Coax Compact Kit allows reuse of existing coax cabling when converting an analog surveillance installation to a digital IP system. The kit includes the AXIS T8641 PoE+ Over Coax Base and the AXIS T8643 PoE+ over Coax Compact unit, delivering standard Power over Ethernet (PoE) and centrally supplied power over the same coax cable. The compact form factor is intended for easier integration into camera housings and back boxes and for neater cable management.

Advantages

The kit enables digital cameras to be powered and networked via existing coax, avoiding full re-cabling. Its compact design simplifies installation inside housings and reduces space requirements.
