Power plug adapter Bachmann 960.302 — Type F, 250 V, 16 A, grey
The Bachmann 960.302 power plug adapter is a compact angle plug with Type F (Schuko) connection for mains devices. Rated for AC 250 V and 16 A, it is designed for indoor use where a reliable connection to Type F sockets is required. The adapter has compact dimensions (59.5 × 36.6 × 44 mm) and an extended shaft that improves handling during installation and everyday use. The coupling is processed to a high standard and is suitable for use with flexible and fixed cables in cross-sections of 3G0.75, 1.0 and 1.5 mm². It includes a strain relief and a separate anti-kink sleeve for safer cable routing, and its connector quality has been validated by recognized testing bodies.
The angle design reduces protrusion and saves space behind appliances while the extended shaft enables easier assembly and repeated plugging. The integrated strain relief and anti-kink sleeve protect the cable entry from mechanical stress and bending, improving long-term reliability. Compatibility with common cable cross-sections and VDE/KEMA-KEUR validated connector quality support safe, standards-compliant installations.
Ensure the supply is disconnected before installing the plug adapter. Strip the cable to the appropriate length, insert conductors into the designated terminals and secure them according to the torque or fastening instructions provided with the product. Fit the anti-kink sleeve over the cable and engage the strain relief to fix the cable position. After assembly, inspect the connections visually and verify there are no exposed conductors before connecting the adapter to a mains socket. Use only with cables and appliances that do not exceed the rated voltage and current.
Use the adapter indoors and avoid exposure to moisture and mechanical impact. Choose the correct cable cross-section (3G0.75–1.5 mm²) and ensure secure terminal connections. Do not exceed AC 250 V or 16 A and replace the adapter if any damage to the housing, contacts or strain relief is visible. For installations requiring certification or in professional environments, follow local electrical regulations and, if necessary, consult a qualified electrician.
