Unmanaged Switch Barox PC-IA800
The Barox PC-IA800 is an unmanaged L2 Fast Ethernet switch designed for demanding network environments. It offers eight 10/100TX RJ-45 ports with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support and additional uplink options for fibre using SFP modules. The device features a 1.6 Gbit/s switching capacity and a MAC address table for 1024 entries. Built in a robust black housing with DIN-rail and wall-mount capability and a wide DC input range of 12–56 V, the switch is suitable for outdoor and industrial installations where reliable, continuous operation is required.
The unmanaged design provides plug-and-play operation without configuration. PoE on the RJ-45 ports enables simultaneous data and power delivery to devices such as IP cameras or access points. SFP bays allow flexible fibre connectivity with multimode or singlemode modules, extending link distance and providing galvanic isolation. The high backplane capacity supports networks with elevated traffic, while industrial mounting options and a wide DC input voltage range make the unit adaptable to various installation scenarios.
Install the switch on a DIN-rail or mount it on a wall at the chosen network location. Connect powered devices (for example PoE IP cameras) to the RJ-45 PoE ports and use the SFP bays with appropriate multimode or singlemode fibre modules for uplink connections. Apply a DC power source within the 12–56 V range to the power input. As an unmanaged switch, it requires no configuration—connected devices will negotiate speed and duplex automatically.
For best performance in surveillance or high-traffic environments, use industrial-grade SFP modules that match your fibre type and ensure adequate PoE power budget for all connected devices. Verify environmental protection and grounding where installed outdoors or in harsh conditions.
