PoE switch BCS B-SP0402 for 4 IP cameras, model 36535, 4 PoE ports
The BCS B-SP0402 PoE switch (model 36535) is a compact network device that supplies both power and data to up to four IP cameras via its four PoE-enabled Ethernet ports. Intended for small surveillance installations and CCTV systems, this indoor switch consolidates camera connections and removes the need for separate power adapters, enabling simpler wiring and a cleaner installation. The unit supports plug-and-play connectivity to quickly add networked cameras to an existing LAN and helps centralize video monitoring infrastructure.
This PoE switch integrates power injection and Ethernet switching in a single device, reducing cabling complexity and installation time. Its four dedicated PoE ports allow independent connection of multiple IP cameras without additional power supplies. The compact form factor is suitable for mounting in equipment cabinets or on a shelf in indoor environments. Designed for straightforward use, the switch works with standard Ethernet cameras and typical surveillance network setups.
Install the switch in a dry indoor location close to the network recorder or network uplink. Connect each IP camera to a PoE port using standard Ethernet cables (CAT5e or better) so that the device supplies both data and power. Link the switch uplink port to your router, NVR, or network switch to enable camera communication with recording or monitoring equipment. Power the unit from a compatible mains supply and check camera operation through the recorder or camera management software.
Place the switch in a ventilated area and use proper-rated Ethernet cables to ensure reliable PoE delivery. For best performance, connect cameras requiring higher power budgets one at a time and verify total available power against the combined camera requirements. Regularly inspect cable terminations and maintain connections to prevent signal loss in surveillance setups.
