Digital mixer Behringer WING RACK
The Behringer WING RACK is a rack-mount digital mixer offering the core mixing features of the WING series in a compact chassis. Designed for live sound, studio and installed applications, this unit provides flexible channel routing, scene management and onboard processing in a form factor intended for front-of-house racks, monitor racks or broadcast racks. The WING RACK aims to deliver digital mixing workflows where space is limited but full routing and mixing capabilities are required.
The WING RACK consolidates input and bus routing, recallable scenes and channel processing into a single rack-mount enclosure. It supports comprehensive signal processing per channel and group, allowing precise EQ, dynamics and routing without external outboard gear. Its rack format simplifies integration into existing rack systems and makes it suitable for mobile rigs, fixed installs and broadcast environments that require remote or centralized control.
This rack-mounted mixer is designed to provide the functionality of a larger console in a compact chassis; it may not be ideal for users who require a full-size control surface with large tactile faders and an integrated touchscreen interface. If hands-on, dedicated surface controls and a physically large fader bank are essential to your workflow, a full-console model could be preferable.
Install the WING RACK into a standard 19" equipment rack and connect inputs and outputs according to your stage or installation wiring. Use the mixer’s routing and scene management functions to map input channels to buses and outputs, and create or recall scenes for different events or sets. Configure per-channel processing such as EQ, compression and gating as required. Remote control and automation may be used from compatible control surfaces or networked control software depending on your system setup.
For reliable performance, allow adequate airflow in the rack, use balanced connections for critical audio paths, and maintain scene backups. When integrating into broadcast or fixed installations, document routing and scene names to simplify operation and troubleshooting.
