Network transceiver module BlueOptics BO29X854S1D-BO QSFP-DD fiber optic 400000 Mbit/s silver metal
BlueOptics BO29X854S1D-BO is a QSFP-DD fiber optic network transceiver module designed for multi-lane 400GbE links. The module supports a maximum data transfer rate of 400000 Mbit/s and uses a QSFP-DD interface in a metal silver housing. With a compact weight of 0.04 kg and a high MTBF of 1,000,000 hours, the unit is intended for use in high-density data center and carrier network environments where interoperable optical connectivity and long service life are required.
The transceiver provides a QSFP-DD interface that enables multi-lane 400G connectivity in compatible switches, routers and storage systems. Its metal casing and silver finish offer physical durability and electromagnetic shielding. The product is engineered to meet MSA-defined mechanical and electrical interoperability expectations for QSFP-DD modules and includes diagnostics capability for remote monitoring when supported by host hardware. The module’s high MTBF supports reduced maintenance cycles and extended operating life.
Install the BlueOptics QSFP-DD transceiver into a compatible QSFP-DD port on the host device following the host manufacturer’s hot-plugging and electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions. Connect the appropriate MPO-16/MTP-16 multimode fiber patch cord or patch panel to the module’s optical interface. If the host system supports digital diagnostics (DDM/DOM), enable and monitor the module’s optical and electrical parameters through the management interface to confirm proper link performance.
Verify compatibility with the target switch or router model and the host firmware version before deployment. Use multimode fiber and MPO-16/MTP-16 cabling rated for the intended link distance and bandwidth. Maintain proper ESD protection during handling and ensure clean fiber endfaces to achieve optimal optical performance.
