BlueOptics CBL-0170-BO is a 10 m multimode fibre optic breakout cable designed for high-density network environments. The cable uses OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core and terminates in a single MTP connector on one end and four LC/APC connectors on the other. The aqua-coloured jacket and full-duplex wiring make this cable suitable for short-reach, high-bandwidth interconnects in data centres, server rooms and InfiniBand installations where reliable MTP-to-LC/APC breakout is required.
This OM3 fibre breakout cable provides multi-channel connectivity in a single assembly, reducing patching complexity and saving rack space compared with individual duplex leads. The MTP termination enables high-density trunking while the LC/APC terminations offer low-reflection connections for transceivers and active equipment that require angled-polish interfaces. With a 10 m length and multimode construction, the assembly supports typical short-range high-speed applications and simplifies fibre management in structured cabling systems.
Connect the MTP end to an MTP-compatible trunk or transceiver panel and route the cable along existing cable management pathways to maintain bend radii and avoid tight bends.
