Fibre optic patch cable BlueOptics CBL-LCLC-R10-BO OM2 50 µm LC to LC 10 m full duplex
BlueOptics CBL-LCLC-R10-BO is a 10 m OM2 multimode fibre optic patch cable with 50 µm core diameter and LC/UPC to LC/UPC duplex connectors. It is intended for full-duplex optical links in LAN, data centre and telecom interconnects where multimode OM2 performance is required. The cable has an ochre LSZH jacket and standard LC duplex termination for straightforward routing and connection.
This OM2 LC–LC patch cable provides low attenuation and high return loss thanks to laser‑optimized multimode fiber and quality connector components. The product uses branded fiber and ceramic ferrules and is factory‑tested with interferometer and OTDR; each cable is supplied with a measurement report of input and return loss. The LSZH jacket reduces halogen release and smoke in case of fire, and the connectors are rated for a high number of mating cycles.
This OM2 multimode cable is not suitable where single‑mode transmission or higher‑bandwidth multimode grades (such as OM3/OM4) are required for longer distances or 10G/40G/100G links. It may also be unnecessary for very short runs where lower specification cables would suffice.
Connect each LC duplex connector into the corresponding LC ports on patch panels, transceivers or switches, matching transmit and receive ports for full‑duplex operation. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical strain; the LSZH jacket allows installation in cable trays and ducts where low smoke emission is required. Follow standard cleaning procedures for LC connectors before mating to ensure low insertion loss and reliable links.
Inspect and clean LC/UPC connector endfaces before installation, avoid bends below the cable's minimum bend radius, and keep measurement reports for troubleshooting. For longer distances or higher-speed links, verify whether OM3/OM4 or single‑mode cable is more appropriate.
