BlueOptics CBL-MPO12-4LC-OM3-10M-BO is a 10 m multimode OM3 fibre optic assembly designed to convert a single MPO trunk into four LC duplex pairs. The cable features an MPO connector on one end and four LC connectors (LC/APC terminations) on the other, with a 50 µm core diameter to support high-density, full-duplex short-range connections in data centre and telecom environments.
The OM3 multimode construction with a 50 µm core enables reliable high-speed transmission for short-range links and structured cabling. MPO to 4×LC conversion simplifies migration and breakout from high-density MPO trunks to standard LC ports, reducing the need for additional adapters or panels. LC/APC terminations provide consistent return loss performance for installations requiring angled-polish interfaces. A 10 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack or patch panel routing within server rooms and network closets.
Route the MPO end to the MPO trunk or cassette port and connect the four LC pairs to the corresponding LC ports on switches, transceivers or patch panels. Ensure connectors are clean and free of dust before mating; use a fibre inspection tool or lint-free wipes with appropriate cleaning fluid. Secure the cable along rack arms or cable management trays to avoid excessive bending; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the fibre manufacturer.
