SFP Transceiver Module BlueOptics FN-TRAN-SFP+ZR-BO QSFP MTP/MPO
The BlueOptics FN-TRAN-SFP+ZR-BO QSFP MTP/MPO SFP transceiver module is designed for high-speed multimode fiber data links. It supports 40G optical transmission using a QSFP form factor and an MTP/MPO connector, with compact aluminium housing and a lightweight design (approximately 20 g). The module is intended for installation in network equipment that accepts QSFP transceivers and MTP/MPO fiber interfaces, providing short-range high-bandwidth connectivity up to the specified transfer distance.
This transceiver offers standardized QSFP connectivity and an MTP/MPO multimode fiber interface to simplify integration with MPO trunk and breakout cabling. Its aluminium enclosure and small weight make handling and installation straightforward. The module is compatible with industry MSA form-factor and connector conventions and is suitable for demanding 40G applications requiring reliable optical links over short distances. Digital diagnostic monitoring is supported by the product family to assist with operational visibility when the host hardware exposes the interface.
Install the QSFP transceiver into a compatible QSFP port on the host device following the device manufacturer’s insertion procedure. Connect an appropriate MTP/MPO multimode fiber cable between the module and the target patch panel or transceiver, ensuring correct fibre polarity and connector alignment. Verify link status on the host device and, if available, use the host’s digital diagnostics interface to monitor optical parameters and confirm proper operation.
Use multimode fiber (MMF) infrastructure rated for 40G applications and MPO/MTP cabling assemblies to achieve the specified 300 m range. Ensure the host equipment supports QSFP-based 40G operation and any digital diagnostics features you intend to use. Avoid excessive bending or contamination of fiber connectors and follow standard fiber handling and cleaning procedures.
