Fiber optic transceiver module BlueOptics JNP-QSFP-100G-BXSR-BO QSFP28 LC
The BlueOptics JNP-QSFP-100G-BXSR-BO QSFP28 LC is a fiber optic transceiver module engineered for high-speed short-range data links. It implements the QSFP28 interface and uses LC duplex connections for multimode fiber transmission, supporting 100G data rates in accordance with 100GBASE-SR2 multimode applications. The module is lightweight (approximately 40 g) and finished in an aluminium-coloured housing to fit dense networking environments and modern hardware platforms that accept QSFP28 form-factor modules.
This QSFP28 transceiver provides a standardized optical interface for 100G multimode links with LC connectors and complies with established MSA form-factor expectations. The module supports digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM/DOM) functions for real-time parameters such as supply voltage, laser current, optical output and input power, and temperature when supported by the host hardware. Manufactured to industry MSA standards and built with selected components, the module is designed for stable operation in switching, routing and storage equipment that supports compatible 100GBASE-SR2 QSFP28 transceivers.
Install the transceiver into a compatible QSFP28 port on network equipment that supports 100GBASE-SR2 modules. Connect LC duplex multimode fiber patch cords to the module's LC connector, ensuring correct polarity for transmit and receive fibers. Verify that the host device recognizes the module and, if available, enable or read DDM/DOM parameters through the device management interface to monitor operational values. Follow the equipment vendor’s guidelines for hot-swap procedures, ESD protection and firmware/software compatibility checks.
Use high-quality OM3/OM4 multimode fiber and properly rated LC patch cords for best range and signal integrity, ensure the host hardware supports 100GBASE-SR2 and DDM/DOM if monitoring is required, and observe ESD precautions during installation. For optimal results in data center environments, pair the module with compatible patch panels and plan cabling routes to minimize bends and insertion loss.
