Fibre optic cable BlueOptics Q1H67A-BO MPO OM3 30 m Aqua
The BlueOptics Q1H67A-BO MPO OM3 30 m Aqua is a 30-metre multimode fibre optic patch cable with MPO to MPO connectors and OM3 laser-optimized multimode fibre. Designed for high-bandwidth interconnects in data centres and enterprise networks, this cable supports InfiniBand and other high-speed optical links. The aqua LSZH outer sheath provides low smoke and zero halogen behaviour while meeting industry standards for safety and reduced fire hazards. The cable is suitable for connecting patch panels, switches, routers and optical transceivers where MPO multi-fibre connections are required.
This fibre cable uses OM3 laser-optimized multimode fibre and MPO/UPC style connectors to deliver low attenuation and high return-loss performance for short- to medium-range high-speed links. BlueOptics components are manufactured from branded fibre and quality connector parts and undergo interferometer and OTDR testing to provide documented input loss and return loss values. The LSZH sheath reduces halogen emission and smoke in case of fire, and the cable construction supports a long mating-cycle lifetime for reliable rack-to-rack and chassis-to-chassis connections.
Install the BlueOptics MPO OM3 cable by aligning and seating the MPO connectors into corresponding MPO ports on patch panels, transceivers or switch modules, ensuring correct keying and polarity for your network architecture. Route the cable through cable management paths, avoid tight bends beyond the specified minimum bend radius, and secure it with cable ties or Velcro straps to prevent strain at the connector ends. Verify connection performance using the supplied measurement protocol or by testing with appropriate optical loss test equipment after installation.
Handle connectors with protective caps in place until final mating, keep connector endfaces clean using approved fibre cleaning tools, and mount or dress the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress. For critical links, validate insertion loss and return loss after installation and keep documentation of test results for future maintenance.
