It is a 7-metre OM3 multimode solution with a 50 µm core diameter, designed for high-speed short-reach links in racks and between adjacent racks. The cable implements QSFP28-to-QSFP28 connectivity with integrated electrical-to-optical and optical-to-electrical conversion, supporting 100GBASE-SR4 Ethernet and InfiniBand transport while providing a lighter, more flexible alternative to direct-attach twinax assemblies.
