BlueOptics R0M48A-BO SFP56 Fiber Optic Transceiver Module 50000 Mbit/s 850 nm
The BlueOptics R0M48A-BO is a high-performance SFP56 fiber optic transceiver module engineered for seamless integration with HPE network equipment. This module supports a maximum data transfer rate of 50000 Mbit/s, utilizing an 850 nm wavelength to provide reliable, high-speed connectivity over multimode fiber optic cabling. Designed for demanding environments, it features an LC duplex connector and is built to maintain signal integrity over distances of up to 100 meters.
This transceiver module offers exceptional reliability, boasting a mean time between failures of 3,000,000 hours, which ensures long-term operational stability for critical network infrastructure. By utilizing high-quality laser and integrated circuit components, the module minimizes latency and is immune to electromagnetic interference, providing a stable data link. The inclusion of Digital Diagnostics Monitoring allows for real-time tracking of critical parameters such as temperature, voltage, and optical power, simplifying network maintenance and troubleshooting. Furthermore, the module is fully compliant with international standards including CE, FCC, and RoHS, ensuring safe and standardized operation within professional networking environments.
This module is not suitable for single-mode fiber optic infrastructure, as it is specifically optimized for multimode fiber applications. Additionally, it should not be used in hardware that does not support the SFP56 interface or the specific 50GBASE-SR protocol requirements.
To install the module, ensure the network device is powered on or follows the manufacturer's hot-swap guidelines. Carefully insert the transceiver into the designated SFP56 port until it clicks into place. Connect the appropriate multimode LC duplex fiber optic patch cable to the module. Once connected, the device should automatically detect the transceiver, allowing for immediate data transmission. If the device does not recognize the module, verify that the port configuration matches the transceiver specifications.
For optimal performance and longevity, ensure that the fiber optic connectors are kept clean and free of dust before insertion. Regularly monitor the DDM interface to proactively identify potential signal degradation.
