CBO fiber cable SFP5252FU1MKA 1 m MPO OM4 violet
CBO SFP5252FU1MKA 1 m MPO OM4 violet is a multimode fiber patch cable designed for short-reach, high-density parallel optics links. The cable uses OM4 multimode fiber and MPO multi-fiber terminations to support multi-lane configurations commonly used in data centers and telecom racks. With a 1 meter length and violet outer jacket, this trunk cable is intended to simplify connectivity between MPO-enabled transceivers, patch panels and cassette modules while maintaining the signal performance required for 40/100 GbE and other MPO-compatible systems.
The OM4 multimode construction delivers higher modal bandwidth and improved link performance for short-reach applications compared with lower-grade multimode types. MPO termination provides multi-fiber connectivity in a single connector, reducing port density and installation time in structured cabling environments. The fixed 1 m length is suitable for direct interconnects in racks and patching between adjacent equipment, and the violet jacket helps visually identify OM4 fiber runs in mixed-fiber installations.
Route the 1 m MPO OM4 cable between MPO-enabled equipment, patch panels or cassette modules so that connector orientation and pin/polarity match the transceivers or adapters in use. Inspect connector endfaces for contamination and clean if necessary before insertion. Insert the MPO connectors firmly into the corresponding MPO ports until the latching mechanism engages. Avoid sharp bends and maintain appropriate bend radius for multimode fiber during installation to preserve link performance.
Use this OM4 MPO cable for short-distance parallel optics within racks or between adjacent racks. Verify MPO polarity and transceiver compatibility for 40/100 GbE assemblies, perform endface cleaning before connection, and secure the cable to avoid mechanical stress that could affect attenuation.
