BlueOptics SFP6141EU1MKB InfiniBand fibre optic cable 1 m MTP 4x LC
The BlueOptics SFP6141EU1MKB InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 1 m breakout cable that connects a single MTP (multi-fiber push-on) connector to four LC duplex connectors. Designed for multi-mode OM3 fibre (50/125 µm) and optimized for transmission around 850 nm, this cable features an 8-core construction, LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket and an MTP connector without pins. It provides a compact, factory-terminated solution for high-density links in data centres, storage networks and LAN environments where fast, reliable optical lanes are required.
This MTP to 4xLC breakout cable reduces installation time by eliminating splicing and complex on-site termination. Its LSZH sheath lowers smoke and toxic gas emissions in case of fire and supports standard-compliant installations. The cable is produced using branded multi-mode fibre and high-quality ceramic ferrule connectors that deliver low insertion loss, high return loss and long mating lifetimes. Each unit is factory-tested (interferometer and OTDR) and supplied with measured loss/return-loss values for predictable performance.
Install the BlueOptics MTP to 4xLC breakout cable by inserting the MTP connector into an MTP cassette, MPO port or trunk panel and plugging each LC duplex connector into the corresponding LC ports on transceivers or patch panels. No field splicing or polishing is required; use standard handling procedures for optical cables, keep connector endfaces clean and protect unused connectors with dust caps. Follow equipment vendor guidelines for strand mapping when connecting parallel lanes to ensure correct channel alignment.
Store and route the cable without sharp bends; respect the minimum bend radius specified by your installation standard. Use compatible MTP cassettes and LC transceivers when deploying parallel optical links and verify measured insertion and return loss values supplied with the cable during commissioning.
