The BlueOptics SFP6142FU3MKB InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 3 m MTP to 4x SC multimode OM4 breakout cable designed for high-density networking environments. It features a single MTP/UPC multi-fiber interface on one end and four SC/UPC duplex connectors on the other, enabling full duplex communication over eight fibers. The cable uses 50 µm core OM4 fibre optimized for 850 nm transmission and is jacketed with a low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) sheath for improved fire safety in confined installations.
This MTP to 4x SC cable provides a compact, factory-terminated alternative to splicing, allowing rapid deployment and straightforward installation compliant with common cabling standards. The OM4 multimode fibre supports low insertion loss and high return loss for reliable signal integrity. Connectors are built with zirconia ceramic ferrules for consistent mating performance and long service life, and each cable is tested with interferometer and OTDR methods with a measurement protocol supplied.
