CBO SFP6262FU3MKB is a 3 m blue fiber optic cable with MTP connector and OM4 multimode grade, designed for high-speed data transmission in data centers, telecom racks and network interconnects. The cable combines an MTP multi-fiber connector with OM4 multimode glass to provide low insertion loss and consistent performance for short to medium reach backbone and patching links. Its 3-meter length is intended for rack-to-rack and shelf-to-shelf interconnects where a structured, color-coded cabling system is used.
The MTP terminated OM4 multimode fiber offers improved bandwidth and lower attenuation compared with lower-grade multimode fibers, enabling reliable transmission at 10 Gb/s, 40 Gb/s and 100 Gb/s distances compatible with OM4 specifications. The factory-terminated connector ensures repeatable optical performance and reduces installation time compared with field-terminated alternatives. The blue jacket provides visual identification in installations that use color coding for link types and distances.
Route the cable through cable management trays or ducts following site cabling standards, avoiding excessive bending and tight bends near the connector ends. Insert the MTP connector into the corresponding MTP/MPO adapter or port, ensuring correct keying and alignment for polarity. Secure the cable to racks or panels to prevent strain on the connector and maintain recommended minimum bend radius during operation. When removing the cable, disengage the connector latch gently and withdraw straight to avoid damaging the ferrule.
Use OM4 MTP assemblies in conjunction with compatible multimode transceivers and adapters, maintain clean connector endfaces by using appropriate cleaning tools before mating, and follow the data center’s polarity scheme when installing multi-fiber links to ensure correct channel mapping.
