BlueOptics MPO‑to‑4×LC Multimode OM3 Patch Cable, MPO‑4xLC, 10 m
BlueOptics MPO‑to‑4×LC Multimode OM3 Patch Cable, MPO‑4xLC, 10 m is a multimode fiber patch cable designed for high‑density parallel connections in data centers and enterprise network installations. The cable terminates an MPO (female) connector on one end and four LC connectors on the other, enabling conversion from MPO trunk lines or cassette ports to standard LC inputs on switches, transceivers and modules. With OM3 multimode fiber and a 10 metre length, it is intended for short to medium reach parallel links that require reliable multimode transmission and easy breakout wiring.
This MPO‑to‑4×LC OM3 cable offers compact parallel connectivity that reduces patching complexity when connecting MPO trunks to LC ports. The use of OM3 multimode fiber supports laser‑optimized transmission for higher bandwidth over multimode links, while the factory‑assembled connectors provide consistent end‑face geometry and low insertion loss. The 10 m length gives flexibility for rack‑to‑rack or equipment‑to‑cassette runs without excessive excess fibre handling.
Install the MPO end into the MPO trunk, cassette or MPO‑compatible transceiver port, ensuring correct alignment of the keying to match polarity. Route the cable to the target equipment and connect the individual LC connectors to the LC ports on switches, transceivers or patch panels. Maintain gentle bend radii and avoid sharp kinks; secure the cable to racks or cable management to prevent strain on connectors. Verify link continuity and optical loss with appropriate test equipment after installation.
Use this OM3 MPO‑to‑4×LC breakout cable for short to medium reach multimode applications where MPO trunk cabling must be broken out to LC ports. Keep connectors clean and protected with dust caps when not connected, follow manufacturer guidance on bend radius for OM3 multimode fiber, and perform insertion loss testing when integrating into production systems.
