Outdoor Patch Cable brackton CAT6a S/FTP 10m RJ45 male–male, black
Outdoor Patch Cable brackton CAT6a S/FTP 10m RJ45 male–male, black
The brackton Outdoor Patch S/FTP CAT6a cable is a 10 m RJ45 male-to-male Ethernet patch lead designed for outdoor or exposed installations. Constructed to support CAT6a performance, the cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity for high-speed network connections. The black jacket provides basic environmental protection while keeping the cable visually discreet for external routing along walls, conduits, and between outdoor network devices.
S/FTP shielding around each twisted pair and an overall foil shield improves resistance to crosstalk and external electromagnetic disturbances, which helps sustain reliable 10 Gbps-capable links over shorter distances. The RJ45 male-to-male terminations enable quick plug-and-play connection to switches, routers, outdoor PoE devices and network outlets without additional adapters. The 10 metre length is suitable for many typical outdoor runs where a balance of reach and signal performance is required. A manufacturer warranty covers the product for two years.
Route the cable along the intended path and secure it using appropriate clips or cable ties rated for outdoor use; avoid sharp bends and tension that could damage the core or connectors. Plug one RJ45 end into the network device and the other into the switch, router, or patch panel. If the cable will be exposed to direct sunlight, precipitation, or mechanical wear, consider additional protective conduit or UV-resistant covers to extend service life. Test the connection with appropriate network testing tools to confirm link speed and signal quality after installation.
For long-term outdoor deployments, combine the cable with weatherproof connectors, conduit, or surge protection where lightning or power surges are a concern. Keep runs within recommended CAT6a distance limits for 10 Gbps operation and avoid running the cable parallel to power lines to minimize interference.
