Patch cable brackton Cat.6 SF/UTP 500MHz 15m grey
Product description is under construction. Specify the parameters, price and delivery options before buying!
brackton Cat.6 SF/UTP 500MHz 15m grey is a shielded patch cable designed for structured cabling and Gigabit Ethernet links. The cable combines a foiled overall shield with unshielded twisted pairs to reduce external electromagnetic interference while maintaining flexibility for installation. With a 500 MHz rating and RJ45 terminations, this 15‑meter grey cable is intended for reliable connections between switches, patch panels, routers and workstations in office and data-centre environments.
The SF/UTP construction provides improved protection against electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain signal integrity over longer horizontal runs. A 500 MHz frequency rating supports high-speed Ethernet standards and leaves margin for bandwidth-intensive applications. The cable's length and flexible sheath simplify routing in racks and conduits without the need for additional couplers, and standard RJ45 connectors ensure compatibility with network equipment.
Ensure both network ports support the required Ethernet speed and are powered off or inactive before connecting. Plug one RJ45 connector into the network device (switch, router or patch panel) and the other into the endpoint (workstation, server or wall outlet). Route the cable along cable trays or cable management accessories to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic fields. For best performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and maintain proper bend radius as specified for Cat.6 cables.
Use this Cat.6 SF/UTP patch cable for horizontal and inter-rack connections where shielding improves signal reliability. Test connections after installation with appropriate cable testers to verify continuity and performance at the intended data rates.
