Quick connector 1/2" with stop BRADAS SKY-LINE — garden irrigation fitting
BRADAS SKY-LINE quick connector 1/2" with stop is a garden irrigation fitting designed to join 1/2-inch hoses or to connect irrigation accessories while providing a shut-off function at the connection point. The fitting is intended for use in drip and sprinkler systems, hose repairs and temporary or permanent connections in home gardens, allotments and small-scale irrigation layouts. It is supplied in a display box format with individual unit presentation suitable for retail.
The quick connector combines a simple push-fit connection with an integrated stop valve that allows immediate shut-off without closing the main water supply. The compact construction enables fast installation and removal, saving time during repairs or seasonal changes. Materials are chosen for outdoor use to resist typical garden conditions and provide reliable water flow control at the mating point.
Ensure hose ends and mating fittings are clean and free of debris. Push the hose or accessory into the quick connector until it seats securely; the push-fit mechanism will hold the connection. To stop water flow at the connector, operate the integrated stop valve according to its design (turn or push as appropriate). To disconnect, close the stop valve first if pressurised, then depress any release mechanism and withdraw the hose or fitting. Regularly inspect seals and connections for wear and replace the connector if leaks occur.
Use the connector within standard garden water pressures and avoid excessive pulling or twisting forces on connected hoses. For long-term installations, check the connection periodically and replace if exposure to sunlight or temperature extremes causes material degradation. Store spare fittings in a shaded, dry place when not in use.
