Pipe coupling BRADAS ECO-PWB2120L for drip irrigation, 20 mm, 1 pc
BRADAS ECO-PWB2120L is a pipe coupling for drip irrigation systems that connects 20 mm tubing. Manufactured in Poland and supplied as a single piece, this coupling creates a compact, water-tight joint suitable for extending or repairing garden and agricultural drip lines. The connector fits standard 1/2" (approximately 20 mm) and 5/8" applications and is designed to work with thin-walled hoses used in common watering systems.
The coupling features well-profiled internal teeth that grip thin-walled hoses securely, reducing the risk of slippage under pressure. Its compact construction provides a durable, low-profile joint that is easy to install and minimizes flow restriction. The part is suitable for outdoor irrigation use and resists typical wear associated with standard drip irrigation setups.
Cut the irrigation tubing squarely at the connection point and ensure the cut ends are clean and free of debris. Push each pipe end firmly onto the coupling until it reaches the internal stop and the profiled teeth engage the hose wall. For thin-walled hoses, apply steady pressure and, if available, warm the hose end slightly to ease assembly. Check the joint under low pressure first, then bring the system to operating pressure and inspect for leaks.
Install the coupling where it will not be repeatedly flexed or exposed to concentrated mechanical stress. Use with compatible 20 mm drip tubing and avoid overtightening or using excessive force that could deform the connector or hose. Periodically check connections as part of routine irrigation maintenance, especially after the first pressurization and following seasonal storage.
