Fruit picker Bradas V-Series metal harvest tool (without handle) KT-V1533H
Metal fruit picker from the BRADAS V-Series designed to assist with manual harvesting when attached to a suitable pole. The tool has a V-shaped metal picking head that gently detaches apples, pears and similar tree fruit from branches while helping to minimise fruit bruising and branch damage. This version is supplied without a handle, so it is compatible with a range of extension poles to reach higher fruit in orchards, gardens or smallholdings.
The metal V-shaped head provides a firm yet controlled grip on fruit, enabling clean detachment from branches. Being made of metal, the head is durable and resists deformation during regular use. Supplied without a handle, the picker can be combined with different pole systems to match the required reach and working conditions. Its open V shape allows leaves and small twigs to pass while guiding fruit into the collection area, reducing the need to climb ladders or directly handle branches.
Attach the picker head to a suitable extension pole according to the pole manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring a secure connection before use. Position the V-shaped head around the fruit, then apply a gentle upward or twisting motion to detach the fruit from the branch so it drops into the collection area. Work steadily along branches to avoid overreaching; adjust pole length and working angle to maintain stable balance and visibility of the fruit.
Check the pole connection regularly for wear and tighten fastenings as needed. Use the picker with poles rated for the expected reach to avoid instability. For delicate fruit, use gentle motions to minimise bruising; harvest early in the morning or late afternoon to reduce exposure to high temperatures.
