Plant tie/wire BRADAS TYD1X50 – garden plant support tie, model TYD1X50
BRADAS TYD1X50 garden plant tie is a flexible wire designed for securing and supporting plants in allotments, home gardens and small-scale horticulture. This plant tie combines pliability with sufficient tensile strength to fasten stems, vines and young trees without cutting into the plant tissue. The product is supplied on a roll for controlled unwinding and includes a built-in cutter for convenient trimming to the required length. Length: 50 m.
The BRADAS plant tie offers adaptable fixation for a wide range of plants, allowing gentle support that follows natural growth. Its flexible wire construction reduces the risk of constriction and stem damage compared with rigid ties. The integrated cutter speeds up installation and prevents the need for additional tools. The roll format and 50 m length provide multiple ties per roll, suitable for repeated garden tasks.
Unwind the required length of tie from the roll and cut using the built-in cutter. Position the tie around the stem or vine and the support post or cane, leaving enough slack to accommodate growth. Fasten gently without twisting tightly; secure by tying a loose knot or looping and tucking the end to avoid sharp edges. Check ties periodically and adjust or replace as plants thicken to prevent constriction.
Use the plant tie for temporary and semi-permanent support; avoid leaving a single tie in place for extended periods without inspection. For long-term anchoring of larger trunks, use wider straps or tree ties designed to distribute pressure. Store the roll in a dry place to extend service life and prevent rusting.
