These compact roof-prism binoculars combine 8x magnification with 42 mm objective lenses to deliver a wide, detailed view in a variety of outdoor situations. The 8x magnification provides a good balance between image enlargement and field of view, giving an effective field of view of 113 m at 1000 m. Constructed with BaK-4 glass and full multi-coatings plus a UR prism coating, the optics offer high light transmission and clear images even in low light and adverse weather. The housing is waterproof and filled with inert gas to prevent fogging, and the binoculars include a neck strap, a metal central focusing wheel and a tripod connection for flexible use.

How to use

Hold the binoculars steady and use the central metal focusing wheel to bring an object into sharp focus. Adjust the twist-up eyecups to the appropriate position depending on whether you wear glasses. First, focus with both barrels using the central wheel on an object at a moderate distance. Then close your right eye and use the dioptre adjustment to compensate for vision differences until the image through the right barrel is sharp. Reopen both eyes and make final focus with the central wheel. For prolonged observation from a fixed point, attach the binoculars to a tripod using the tripod connection thread.
