Felt sheet BREWIS Filc FC410-11 dark green 1 mm
BREWIS Filc FC410-11 dark green is a 1 mm thick felt sheet made for crafts, hobby projects, model making and light upholstery tasks. This non-woven textile offers a flexible, tear-resistant surface that can be cut, glued and shaped for appliqué, decorative details, protective pads and lining. The thin profile makes it suitable where a discreet, durable layer is required without adding bulk.
The BREWIS Filc sheet combines consistent thickness and a uniform dark green color with easy-to-cut handling and stable dimensional behaviour. Its 1 mm thickness provides a balance between suppleness and stability, allowing clean edges and precise shapes when using scissors or craft knives. The material adheres well with common craft glues and can be sewn or stitched for light upholstery repairs. It resists fraying because it is non-woven, and its surface is suitable for inks, fabrics paints and light embossing techniques.
Measure and mark the required shapes on the felt sheet, then cut using sharp scissors or a craft knife on a suitable cutting mat for precise edges. For gluing, use PVA, fabric glue or hot melt adhesives depending on the project; press surfaces together until the adhesive sets. For sewing, use a sharp needle and appropriate thread and keep stitches small to avoid puckering. When painting or printing, test the chosen medium on a scrap piece to confirm adhesion and colorfastness.
Store flat or rolled loosely to avoid creases. For long-lasting results on frequently used items, reinforce attachment points with stitching in addition to adhesive. Avoid exposure to heavy moisture and direct prolonged sunlight to preserve color and dimensional stability.
