Suitable for

• Drawing sewing patterns and seam allowances directly on fabric
• Creating quilting templates and alignment lines for patchwork
• Drafting paper craft designs and intricate templates before cutting
• Precision marking for embroidery and textile customization projects

When it may not be suitable

This pen set may not be suitable if you are working with materials that cannot be marked with temporary inks or fabrics that are sensitive to moisture and air-drying properties. Additionally, it is not intended for permanent marking tasks where lines need to remain visible over long periods of time.

How to use

To use the Brother CAPEN2 pens, insert the pen securely into a compatible ScanNCut pen holder, ensuring it is properly seated according to your machine's manual. Load your pattern into the cutting machine and let the device draw the design directly onto your fabric or crafting material. After the cutting and sewing process is complete, remove the temporary markings either by allowing them to disappear naturally through air exposure or by applying water to wash away the ink lines depending on the specific pen used.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that you own or have a compatible Brother ScanNCut pen holder, as the holder is not included in this set
• Check compatibility with your specific Brother ScanNCut machine model
• Confirm that temporary air or water erasable inks are suitable for your chosen crafting materials

Always test the erasable pens on a small scrap piece of your chosen material before starting your main project to ensure the ink applies smoothly and removes completely as expected.
