The METZ CONNECT Cat.6A Blue 1.5 m networking cable is a fully shielded S/FTP patch cable designed for high-performance Ethernet installations. It features AWG 26/7 conductors, two shielded RJ45 connectors with 1:1 wiring, a low-smoke halogen-free (LSHF/LSOH) sheath and gold-plated contacts, supporting up to 10 Gbit/s data rates and compatibility with shielded and unshielded Class EA systems.

Advantages

Fully shielded S/FTP construction and shielded RJ45 connectors reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, ensuring signal integrity up to 500 MHz. The LSHF (LSOH) outer jacket minimizes hazardous emissions in case of fire. The cable is certified to ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2.2 and IEC 61935-2 and tested by GHMT, making it suitable for demanding 10 Gbit Ethernet, PoE/PoE+ and UPoE applications. A snagless boot with integrated latch protection protects the connector during handling and installation.
