Patch Panel METZ CONNECT 130861-0802-E
Surface-mounted, unequipped module housing for individual modules in modular design. The housing is made of solid steel sheet with the upper part powder-coated in RAL 9010. It is suitable for direct wall mounting, desktop use and DIN-rail mounting with the DIN rail adapter mini FS. The bottom of the 3-port and 4-port variants can be removed for cable access and an additional 60 mm fastening clearance is provided for secure attachment. Optional accessories such as the mini splice tray and strain relief for patch cords (for 2 x 12 housing: 130861-24ZE-E) are compatible with the housing.
The metal construction provides mechanical stability and long service life while the powder-coated upper part offers corrosion resistance and a consistent appearance. The top cover is removable without screws for quick access, and equipotential bonding is possible via a contact pin. Additional strain relief points on the lower part allow use of cable ties to secure cabling. Multiple mounting options (wall, desktop, DIN-rail) increase installation flexibility.
Select the housing variant that matches the number of module ports required, mount the housing on the wall, place it on a desktop or attach it to a DIN-rail using the mini FS adapter. Remove the top cover by lifting it off (no screws required) to install individual modules. For 3- and 4-port variants, remove the bottom if needed for cable routing. Use the contact pin for equipotential bonding and secure cables with cable ties at the lower strain relief points. Fit optional mini splice tray or strain relief accessories as required.
Use the appropriate housing variant for the planned number of modules and apply the optional accessories (mini splice tray, strain relief) when fiber splicing or multiple patch cords require organized routing; ensure equipotential bonding is installed in environments where grounding is necessary.
